Creating a Common Vision
Building a solid image about what the Salish Sea offers in the minds of the world community takes strategic planning. Our goal is to continuously refine a cohesive destination marketing strategy that works in three areas:
1.) Close Reach: To entice visitors from major local metropolitan areas from Portland Oregon to Vancouver BC to plan day-trip, weekend and longer excursions to the communities along the shores of the Salish Sea with visitor centers. "Staycations" are a growing trend during the persistent week economic conditions projected.
2.) Mid Reach: We will strive to attract west coast visitors from California to Calgary for long weekends and deep explorations of the Salish Sea through travel shows and events.
3.) Long Reach: Drawing world travelers from affluent regions around the world through consolidated media advertising and editorial campaigns.
